Here’s a look at just some of the incidents attended to this past Sunday afternoon alone:Complaints from residents attended to: β€’ Children smoking and swearing loudly– Waairpalm Street, Cloetesville β€’ Noise complaint – Dorp Street β€’ Loud music – Kleindigteby settlement β€’ Individuals littering at the Toy Museum garden β€’ Urinating in Clover Street β€’ Four suspicious individuals in balaclavas bothering people on Nuutgewonden bridge β€’ Escorted electricians for emergency repair work β€’ Noise complaint Franschhoek Main Road β€’ Stray cows spotted near Kayamandi β€’ Illegal car guard – Plein StreetOther actions taken: β€’ Visible patrols in Franschhoek & Stellenbosch – on foot and in vehicles β€’ Inspection at Mooiwater Wendy houses β€’ Crime prevention patrols in Stiebeuel Street, Franschhoek β€’ High-visibility patrols during small community unrest in Lanquedoc❗ Serious incident: Officers also responded to a shooting in Cloetesville, to support the SAPS on the scene.
